Dual-SIM HTC One listed on company website as 'coming soon'

After being around in the news for a really long time, the HTC One finally got an official launch in India in late-May this year. The Taiwan-based company is now close to unveiling the dual-SIM variant of its HTC One smartphone in India. On its India website, HTC has listed the dual-SIM variant of the One as “Coming Soon”.

As you may have come to expect, the specs of the two smartphones are almost similar, barring a few differences.

To start off with, the HTC One dual-SIM sports an 11.9 cm, or a 4.7-inch display with Gorilla Glass 2. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and is fuelled by a 2300 mAh battery.

Unlike the single-SIM variant of the HTC One, the dual-SIM variant does come with an option to expand the memory. The HTC One came with 2GB of RAM and had 32GB or 64GB of on board memory available. On the dual-SIM variant of the smartphone, though, the internal memory available is 16GB; users can expand it by up to 64GB.

The smartphone runs Android Jelly Bean and comes with HTC Blinkfeed with Sense 5. It measures 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm and weighs 143 g. As far as its sound capabilities are concerned, it comes with dual speakers, called BoomSound, placed on the front.
