Karbonn reveals Titanium S6 HD quad-core smartphone, due soon at Rs. 19,000
Karbonn Mobiles is working on Titanium
S6 HD quad-core mobile. The mobile is expected to have a Qualcomm-built
chipset and 2GB of RAM. The phone will sport a 12.7-cm (5-inch) HD
display. It will come with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP
front camera for video calling is also expected.
Mr Pradeep Jain MD Karbonn Mobiles
hinted at the specs of the mobile at an event and said, “We are working
on a quad-core based smartphone, that will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
version and will be priced around Rs 19,000.”
Karbonn Titanium S6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and will have a stylus similar to Samsung Galaxy Note Devices. The Titanium S6 will run on the latest Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS.

Director of Karbonn Mobiles stated on the launch that "Our aim at
Karbonn is not to provide the cheapest smartphone is the category but a
quality product in the market. We have done that with our past
products and we will continue to do the same with Titanium S6." The
Karbonn Titanium S6 Mobile is expected to be launched in July and will
be priced at Rs 19,000.
The Titanium S6 will face still competition from the Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z
which also supports a 5.0-inch display, a quad core processor and is
priced at Rs. 14,990. Another competitor for the S6 will the Lemon A4, which has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and is priced at Rs. 17,999.
