Lava's Iris series just got updated with the arrival of IRIS 504q
smartphone. Indians had got quite excited after Lava floated the teaser 'Touch Phone Minus The Touch'
and there were many shares across social media where all began the
guess game about the features, tech specs and price of this new baby
from Lava. Now, with a price tag of Rs. 13,500, declaring it a mid-range
smartphone, Lava IRIS 504q is taking pride in being one of the thinnest
smartphones at 8.4mm featuring a 1.2 GHz quad core processor for the
budget-conscious young crowd of India. Accommodating a 5-inch
multi-touch OGS IPS display with a 1280 x 720p resolution screen for
your HD quality needs, this smartphone from Lava is banking on its
gesture-recognition support feature to become a hit in the Indian
market.
So, with IRIS 504q you can actually perform the touch functions on this touch-screen without actually touching it. Using a variety of gestures, users are able to change tracks on their playlists, capture images, tune FM radio or view pictures in the gallery with just the swipe of their hand over the screen. Powering up upon a 2000mAh battery, this smartphone features the Android 4.2 - Jelly Bean OS.
