Samsung Galaxy Note II may get a refresh with Snapdragon 600
Samsung has been upgrading their earlier
devices of the Galaxy line with better processor, the latest of which
could be the Galaxy Note II.

According to benchmark reports, a Samsung
device with model number GT-N7108D, which is the Galaxy Note II,
visited the benchmarks with a 1.9 GHz processor. Sources indicate that
the processor could be a quad core Snapdragon 600. Interestingly the
device scored a decent 26901 at the benchmarks. The same model is said
to have visited the Bluetooth Certification body as well as the FCC.
This could very well be the refreshed
version of the Samsung Galaxy note II with a quad core Snapdragon 600
processor. However, sources claim that this phablet may be targeted only
towards Asian markets with the onset of the Galaxy Note 3. With the
Galaxy Note 3 scheduled for launch on September 4, the existing Note II
would be a mid-range device, thus the need for a boost.
