Samsung launches Galaxy Tab 3 series in India; 8 inch Tab 3 priced at Rs. 21945 (Wi-Fi only) and Rs. 25725 (3G); 7 inch Tab 3 priced at Rs. 17745

Samsung has today announced an array of tablet devices from its Galaxy Tab 3 series in India. The new tablets to get added to Samsung India take the number of tablets available to five.

Samsung officially announced three new tablets – the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 311 (3G enabled and Wi-Fi only) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211. The Galaxy Tab 3 311 is an 8 inch Android tablet and available in the 3G calling model and the Wi-Fi only model. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor along with 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. The device is equipped with two cameras, a rear facing 5 MP camera and the front facing 1.9 MP camera. The Wi-Fi only model is priced at Rs. 21945 and the tablet with 3G calling support is priced at Rs. 25725.

Similarly the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 has a 7 inch display and comes in a compact, one-hand grip form factor which enables the users to hold it in one hand. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The device has smaller cameras – a 3 MP rear facing camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. The tablet is priced at Rs. 17745.
