Spice Coolpad 2 Mi 496 quad-core Jelly Bean smartphone available for Rs. 9,499

Spice's new smartphone, Coolpad 2 Mi 496 is now available via online retailer Saholic for Rs. 9,499. The smartphone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

The Coolpad 2 Mi 496 comes with dual-SIM (3G + 2G) functionality and features a 4.5-inch display with 960x540p resolution. It has 5MP auto focus rear camera and does not have a front camera.

The smartphone has 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage and microSD card slot. In terms of connectivity, the Coolpad 2 Mi 496 supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and aGPS. The phone comes with a 1,700 mAh battery.

The availability of the Mi 496 follows the launch of the Coolpad Mi-515, which sports dual-SIM, 5-inch qHD display, Android 4.1, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
